Evaluation induction seminar
An initiation to the evaluation for beginners
This seminar aims at putting in perspective evaluation theory and practice, for everyone who is interested in evaluation. It is ideal for beginners or for consolidating knowledge acquired through practice.
Attendees will follow step by step the main phases of an evaluation and will acquire knowledge and understanding of the evaluation concepts and vocabulary. At the end of the course they will have acquired understanding of how to plan and conduct evaluations, which are the main evaluation methods and tools, and how to conduct quality evaluations.
Course objectives:

Gain insight on the basic evaluation concepts, purpose and standards

Familiarise with the main steps of the evaluation process and learn how to apply them in their evaluations

Understand and apply quality standards in evaluations through review of the key quality aspects for each phase of the evaluation process

Ensure better understanding of the role and responsibilities of the stakeholders in the evaluation process

Improve understanding on the use of the evaluation results and recommendations
