EU Seveso III Directive
Requirements and proposals for practical work
 This seminar aims to explain and promote the Seveso III directive and Industrial Safety capacity building. The course can also be conducted in a way to train the trainers so to ensure regular applications in partner countries without further outside support.
At the end of the seminar, attendees will be familiar with the legal requirements, duties of authorities and operators of the safety management systems. They will acquire a better understanding on how to assess emergency planning and safety requirements, including enforcement and alignment with Seveso III requirements.
Course objectives:
To gain better understanding of:

the rationale and objectives of the EU-Seveso directive;

the scope of application of Industrial Safety Aspects in relation to various levels and types of decision-making;

key principles of Seveso ΙΙΙ Directive Safety Report and elements of good practice;

the procedures and methods that are used to carry out this process.
