How to manage and conduct successful impact evaluations
This course is intended for individuals who are responsible for policy and strategic planning and evaluation, evaluation practitioners, researchers and policy analysts. The seminar will help them improving their skills and knowledge of impact evaluation concepts and techniques.
Attendees will familiarise with impact evaluation methods, they will learn to plan and manage complex evaluations and produce analysis and recommendations for policy makers.

Increase the understanding and use of impact evaluations

Improve motivation, capacity and confidence for designing carrying out impact evaluations as an important tool for evidence-based policy development

Learn how to design and implement impact evaluations, how to frame the right evaluation questions and choose the right indicators

Acquire a better understanding of the impact evaluation methods and discuss their advantages, disadvantages and limits

Identify solutions on data sources and data availability

Discuss important pre-requisites in organising quality impact evaluations, including the involvement of the different stakeholders
